About the Doctor

Dr. Lee is a walking testimony to her undisputed success of wholistic medicine with a physical, mental, emotional and spiritual recovery. She was forced to study the subject out of sheer desperation. Having had multiple illnesses and injuries, the last insult to her body was a car accident in which the diagnosis was irreversible brain damage also known as post traumatic stress disorder.

She speaks of her childhood as a continual plague of infectious illnesses and diseases due to compromised immunity such as:

Chronic tonsillitis
Ear and sinus infection
Psorisis
Stomach and leg cramps
Headaches

Strep throats
Chronic constipation
Allergies
Gum disease
Tooth loss

She was told she would outgrow many of these problems and that constipation was normal for some children. Dr. Lee's entire life has been treatment with penicillin, antibiotics and surgery. As a child and an adult, she ate an abundance of sugar, dairy, red meat and later fast foods. She began smoking at the age of 14. Discipline problems followed her at home and school. Her ability to learn and retain information and to stay focused was constantly challenged. Behavioral problems were proven by the many detentions, suspensions and groundings. She was unable to control her negative attitude, depression, low self-esteem and disruptive actions. NOTE: By today's standards she most certainly would have been diagnosed with ADD (Attention Deficit Disorder) as a child and later as an adult.

Previous to a serious car accident, she was plagued with the following conditions in which she was treated with drugs and surgery:

Colitis
Endometriosis
Oral surgeries
9 different broken bones
Balding
Chronic fatigue
Restless leg syndrome
Sciatica
IBS - (Irritable bowel Syndrome)
Adrenal exhaustion
High cholesterol &
   Triglycerides

Thyroid imbalance
Anemia
Gingivitis
Arthritis
Cancer
Fibromyalgia
Sclerosis of the spine
Bronchitis
Post traumatic stress disorder
Tape worms (caught from animal)

After the car accident, living a lifestyle of cigarettes, coffee and travel as an insurance agent she took no care for the concerns and many cries of the body. She willed herself through multiple physical and mental challenges. Until Dr. Lee met the ultimate challenges where she no longer had any will or control over her life. Doctors missed the brain damage aspect of her injuries while she was hospitalized and was misdiagnosed. She returned to her life of only 6 months of marriage and a successful insurance career. She experienced various problems which prompted her to return to the doctors. She had extensive testing and it was determined that she had post traumatic stress disorder with irreversible brain damage effecting various areas, including motor skills. Testing determined an IQ of 8th grade intelligence. Below is a list of the many challenges she faced as a result of her accidents:

A constant migraine headache
A limp from broken knee that would not heal
Balance problems (falling down without warning)
A speech impediment (stuttering)
Unable to hold a thought (short & long term memory loss, unable to retrieve information)
Chronic fatigue (sleeping 14-16 hours daily)
Multiple head and body scars
Nightmares (fear that caused physically jumping from bed)
Lost capability to read, write and perform simple addition (Relearned in rehab)
Severe temper tantrums
Depression-suicidal
Psychiatric treatment and drugs
Rehabilitation for physical/mental injuries
Tingling and numbness in hands and feet
Fibromyalgia

Eventually Dr. Lee was placed on permanent disability and was told she would never be employed or be able to learn again. Upon entering rehab, she was told it was unfortunate they had not been able to treat her from the beginning because brain patterns had been set and they believed there was not much that could be done.

After several discouraging years in rehab and depression to the point of suicide, she left rehab. Having very little faith left and blaming God for the situation, she entered college. Teachers were told she was there to learn anything to help her feel better. She chose not to be graded, quizzed or judged, due to her 8th grade IQ which would compound her existing stress.

When we wrote this story she remarked it was almost difficult to believe it was about her, the memory being so vague.

Years later she traveled to China and became even more convinced the body is capable of healing the most hopeless and helpless medical situations and that we do not have to get old physiologically “the body can regenerate and no disease is incurable”.
